Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs

All-terrain pushchair that provides lightweight durability and excellent maneuverability. The compact fold using one hand makes it simple to move. It can also stand on its own when folded. The padded seat reclines to a near-flat position, and there's a huge storage bin and canopy. Newborn suitability: Yes it comes with a carrycot (not suitable for sleeping overnight).

A well-constructed suspension and air-filled tires will allow you navigate through rough terrain. You can also use it for jogging. However, you must wait until your baby is at least 6 or 9 months old.

Ickle Bubba XL Air

This lightweight pushchair by Ickle Bubba is packed with lots of features that parents will love. It comes as an all-in-one travel system that includes a lie-flat carrycot designed for infants, a movable forward and rear facing pushchair, and a choice of a car seat, so you can have everything you need in one place.

The XL Air is a really impressive buggy and it's easy to see why it has received such high praise from customers. It's extremely light - the wheels and chassis weigh just 6.5kg - and it's also easy to put together. In fact I was able to complete the entire setup and running in less than five minutes, which is pretty amazing considering that it also included a strapping of the fabric for the carrycot!

It has a nice, wide seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months) and the recline lever is very easy to operate. There's a good amount of room in the basket too, and I love the fact that it comes with a zip-up compartment in the handle bar so that you can keep your keys and phone safe!

The only slight downside is that the handlebar is low, which could be an issue for parents who are taller. It's covered with a soft, comfortable leather-like material, which is easy to clean.

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is for parents who enjoy exploring and are always on the move. Its large pneumatic wheels were designed to be used on field and forest trails and the front wheel can be rotated and locked for additional versatility. It also has a padded 5-point safety harness as well as a front bar to ensure your child is safe throughout your journey, while the parking brake effectively stops the stroller from moving while you rest. The seat can be repositioned to lay flat and the canopy can be opened for maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30 centimeters to accommodate dad or mum's heights.

Whether you're going for short jogs or a longer hike, the Runner is ready to join you on your journeys with a fully-flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that guarantee an unhurried ride. The front wheel can be locked to provide greater stability when walking on narrow streets or busy sidewalks. The stroller can also be folded in order to fit into car boot spaces or storage areas.

Some parents have reported that the Runner 2 to be a bit harder to navigate than its predecessor, and the locking system isn't as user-friendly (requiring two buttons on the opposite side of the push bar). The handlebar is higher than the ones of competitors', so it might not be suitable for parents with shorter arms but overall, it's an extremely sturdy and flexible stroller that is worthy of consideration for families with active kids.

Red Kite's Pace is a great product from the cost-effective British brand. They are renowned for their clean, well-designed products that are essential for parents. It's the latest - and priciest - product in their bargain-priced lightweight stroller line. It like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo, is car seat adaptable so you can use it from birth (the carrycot folds away).

The new Pace features some stunning design features, including a rose gold tint to the chassis, hood and stroller trims that make it stand out from its competitors. The cream, grey, and tan fabrics in the stroller and the car seat are super stylish and there is the option of adding a co-ordinating leather cover handle and bumper bar, too.

It is suitable from birth up to a max weight of 22kg. The stroller seat converts easily from the carrycot into an reversible 2-in-1 mode that can be facing the parent or the world. The stroller seat comes with various lie-back positions, comfortable padded leg rests, and an extendable sun canopy that has concealed zip sections with a view-through flap, and a retractable visor.

When folded, the Pace measures 56 inches x 43cm and 32 inches, which makes it suitable for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. Two buttons on either side are easy use and can be clicked to lock it in the appropriate position.

Bugaboo Fox 5,

Bugaboo's Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate all-terrain stroller. Its unique chassis features a shorter wheel width, making it more manoeuvrable than its predecessor. I put it to the test with my two kids - a toddler and an eight week old - over the rocky roads, grassy woodland walks and even cobblestones.

The large puncture-proof wheels - 22cm or 30cm in diameter - can handle a variety of terrains. They also have an easy flap that opens or closes to allow more air to enter should you need it, which is a nice addition. It's a bit bigger than other pushchairs, however it isn't heavy or bulky when you push it over bumpy surfaces.

The fabric of the seat is machine washable, and the faux leather frames and grips are easy to clean. It's also much quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt comfortable using it in busy city streets. It has built-in accessory points that allow you to attach parasols and footmuffs along with changing bags or snack trays, and even snack trays. You can also use the hood to block out rain and wind, though it's not particularly waterproof. It's a single pram, however, you can also attach their Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) to give your child some extra legroom. It took around 20 minutes to put together the bassinet, and the same amount of time to convert it to the seat.

A fantastic feature is the reversible handlebar, which lets you adjust it to your height and preferences. The Ridge's fold, in contrast to many strollers for jogging, is sturdy and self-standing when folded.
